Brent Weeks

Brent Weeks, born March 7, 1977 (1977-03-07) (age 35),[1] is an American author living and writing in Oregon. Born in Montana, Weeks graduated from Hillsdale College with a degree in English. After brief stints teaching and bar tending, he devoted himself to writing full time.[2]

Weeks's first work, The Night Angel Trilogy, was published by Orbit Books. The trilogy centers on the orphan Azoth, who becomes a professional wetboy after training with the fabled wetboy Durzo Blint. Night Angel garnered success by making the New York Times bestseller list. It has seen multiple printings and been translated in numerous languages.

Brent's latest book, The Black Prism, is a part of the The Lightbringer series.
